Centerpoint Health receives 3-year CARF accreditation
CINCINNATI—The Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) recently re-accredited Centerpoint Health with a 3-year CARF accreditation—the third consecutive CARF three-year accreditation for the nonprofit agency.
An agency receiving a three-year accreditation outcome has been through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors that programs and services are of the highest quality and are measurable and accountable. Centerpoint Health received its first CARF accreditation in 2004.
CARF listed 11 strengths of the organization. Among those are its unified corporate culture, an informed and invested board of trustees and executive director, a dashboard to monitor weekly outcomes, its client medication distribution process, well-organized forensic program payee services, collaborative prevention services, the reduced wait time through the central registration center, family involvement through the peer support program, access to services, and the incorporation of primary and behavioral health care.
Services accredited:
• Case Management for those with mental health needs (all ages)
• Community housing for those with mental health needs (adult)
• Community integration for those with mental health needs (adult)
• Crisis and information call centers for those with mental health needs (adult)
• Outpatient treatment for those with mental health needs (all ages)
• Prevention/diversion for those with mental health needs (all ages)
